£1000 Raised for Gordon Renal Dialysis.

A team of Gordon Conservatives and friends spent the last sunny day in October climbing Bennachie in aid of Gordon Renal Dialysis. Team leader Nanette Milne said “We had a great day out, in beautiful weather, and we were delighted to receive so much sponsorship money for a truly deserving local cause.

“The dedicated members of GRD are running a magnificent fund-raising campaign for renal dialysis within Gordon, so that local patients can have their treatment locally, instead of spending many hours, several times a week, en route between home and Foresterhill."

“As the mother of a son who had a successful liver transplant, I know just how distressing major organ disease can be to patients and their families, and if treatment can be carried out locally, then at least one of their stresses can be
alleviated."

“I wish GRD every success with their ongoing efforts, and hope their ambition to help local kidney patients will soon be realised.”
